Our Mission

It is the mission of the Cherokee County Fire Chief’s Foundation to:

• Assist CCFES Employees and other local fire departments in the event of a major medical emergency or life- altering diagnosis for themselves or their immediate family members.
• Support and enhance the ability of CCFES employees to render exemplary public service.
• Assist immediate family members of fallen CCFES employees and other local department members.
• Assist with educating and equipping future firefighters through the CCFES Explorer’s program.
• Assist citizens displaced by fire with immediate needs; bridging the gap between the time of the event and the arrival of Red Cross assistance.
